Our Story

As a lifelong Cairns local, foster carer, early childhood educator, community leader and experienced manager, I have spent many years supporting children, young people and families & community from all walks of life.

These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the challenges people face and the difference that genuine connection, practical support and a strong sense of belonging can make.

Over the years, I have built trusted relationships with local families, businesses, community organisations and support services. I created Which-Way Connect to bring those connections, skills and lived experiences together—to build safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces where people feel valued, supported and free to be themselves.

Which-Way Connect is more than an organisation to me. It has grown from my personal commitment to strengthening our community and ensuring that no child, young person or family feels they have nowhere to turn. Everything we do is shaped by the people around us and guided by one simple belief: everyone deserves a safe place to land and a strong place to belong.

Our Approach

We believe in creating a space where people can belong without pressure. Our philosophy is rooted in safety, choice, and presence.

Safety First

We prioritize a secure environment where people feel safe to land and connect without judgment.

Choice Before Compliance

Presence Over Pressure

We empower individuals to make their own decisions, fostering a sense of ownership and agency.

We provide a welcoming space for connection, allowing people to simply be present and find their place.

Belonging Without Pressure

We create inclusive pathways for everyone to thrive, regardless of their background or expectations.
