Northern Beaches Youth Space

Long-time Northern Beaches local here - just wanted to say how good it is to have a space like this in the area. The whole "safety before expectation, belonging without pressure" approach is exactly what our community needed. Brought my niece along to one of the gatherings last month and she hasn't stopped talking about it. Cairns really does look after its own when places like this exist.

On a lighter note - people always ask what parents actually do once the kids are finally asleep :) My honest answer: cup of tea on the balcony, and lately a few games on vegastars https://vegasstars.online/ on my phone while I decompress. Nothing serious, just my little wind-down ritual after a day of school runs and work. It loads straight in the browser, no apps or fuss, which suits me fine. Is IoT Making Cars Smarter or Just More Complicated?

I've been reading about how IoT (Internet of Things) is changing the automotive industry, and it's interesting to see how connected vehicles are becoming the new normal.

Features like real-time navigation, remote diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and emergency alerts can make driving safer and more convenient. At the same time, connected vehicles also raise questions about data privacy, cybersecurity, and how much technology we actually want in our everyday lives.

I think smart vehicles have a lot of potential, especially as electric and autonomous vehicles continue to evolve. But it's equally important to ensure these technologies remain secure, reliable, and easy for people to use.
